We are looking for a motivated and aspiring Junior Audio-Visual Control System Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build your skills, gain hands-on experience, and work toward becoming a certified control system programmer at BPAV.
Job Description:
The Junior Audio-Visual Control System Programmer will be responsible for assisting with programming and commissioning control systems for a variety of audio-visual equipment and technologies, including Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, Biamp, and Kramer systems. This role will involve both on-site work and the opportunity to receive ongoing training, certification and mentoring to advance to a fully certified control system programmer at BPAV.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior programmers to design and program audio-visual control systems.
- Assist with on-site commissioning tasks for audio-visual installations across the UK and potentially further afield.
- Participate in programming and troubleshooting activities.
- Learn and develop your skills in Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, Biamp, and Kramer programming.
- Attend training sessions and certifications to advance your programming capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of audio-visual equipment and control systems.
- Eagerness to learn and develop control system programming skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be based in the United Kingdom.
This role would suit an audio-visual commissioning, support/service, or DSP engineer with a strong background in the audio visual permanent installation industry looking to progress their skills into control system programming.
